Linux Tweak

I was using my linux and it was little slow. Even mouse and scrolling was not good. And suddenly I discovered that my cpu is running with 375MHz frequency. And I guess I bought a 3.0 GHz processor. :D:D You know what was the linux logic?? Linux was doing it to save power. And for stupid powersave it was using hell lot of my time :D Finally I forced it to run on full speed.

Those who dont know, try commnad 'cpu-freq info'. It'll give u your CPU frequency along with the possible frequencies in which the cpu can run. To change the cpu speed (for improved speed or for power save :P) use command 'cpu-freq selector -f '.

• Pyar ke side effects (Twice : Once in theatre)
• Shiva
• Asoka

And I missed all classes today. Got fever (due to my tiring schedule...?). Aint I a freak..?? :D

Chand Ashoka

I watched the Hindi movie Ashoka again. And felt the same sadness again. I certainly got curios about the real history. I had read a play regarding this Kalinga war. But, that was not enough. I wanted to know if someone named Kaurwaki really existed?

Well...I read at few places and wikipedia mentinos her name as a beloved. So, she really did exist. And Ashoka really was an unfortunate great person.

I'm ashamed that I didn't knew any of it, specially when it is OUR history. What more? I'm also from Patliputra, the capital city.

Defining Laziness

• I renewed my bank passbook after 1.5 years.
• I was reading Naruto manga all of this weekend.
• I slept in all 3 classes today.
• I'm not writing anything (even blog posts) these days.
• And I don't want to think anymore point to write.

Horrible day

Today I missed all lectures. I thought I can wake up in an hour and slept back at 9:30. Well... I regret it. Even in evening I didnt even realise that I've a lab today. So, missed a lab worth 1 credit.

My cellphone validity has already expired and I havnt givne my draft to the bank. So, no one can contact me even in urjent situations. I think I'll recharge my cell tomoorrow. Last night was cool. With my streetplay team, We all went to sheesha for dinner.

Will post some pictures afterwards. I'm not feeling good after very long time. Dunno what awaits ahead.

Today was Inter hostel streetplay competition. And we won. It proved so many things. (I dont want to mention them :D) I'm happy 'coz I fulfilled a promish with someone. I'm happy. We rocked. Great teamwork by people. Will try to post some of performance pics. (If available) Ronak and Aseem got 'Special Mention' for acting. Not to mention, without Ankit...nothing could have happened. Love u all.
